Terms of Use

MailPal · Effective October 31, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Andrews Collective LLC ("we", "us"), the maker of MailPal. By using MailPal you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What MailPal does

MailPal uses artificial intelligence to read photos of your physical mail and tell you what each piece appears to be, whether it looks like a scam or sales trick, and what you might do next. It can also remind you about bills and alert family members you approve.

2. MailPal can be wrong

MailPal gives information, not professional advice, and it is not always right. AI can misread a photo, miss a scam, flag a real letter as suspicious, or misstate an amount or date.

3. Your account

You can use MailPal without an account. If you create one, give accurate information and keep your email secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use MailPal.

4. Free plan and Premium

5. Family plan

A Premium subscriber can ask to watch for scams in another MailPal user's mail. Nothing is shared until that person approves, and either person can end the link at any time. Only short summaries of mail flagged as a likely scam are shared, never everyday mail. Only add people who want your help.

6. Acceptable use

Use MailPal only for mail you are allowed to open and read, such as your own mail or mail you have permission to help with. Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, to access other people's accounts, or to use it for anything illegal.

7. Your content

You own the photos you take. You give us permission to process them only to provide MailPal to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your mail to train AI models.

8. Our app

MailPal, its design, name, and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Where these terms and Apple's agreement differ, these terms apply to the extent the law allows. Apple is not responsible for MailPal or its support.

9. Availability

We work to keep MailPal running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, slow, or change. We may add, change, or remove features. If we ever shut MailPal down, we will give reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, MailPal is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including any warranty that it will catch every scam or read every document correctly.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses caused by relying on MailPal's analysis, including money lost to scams or late fees. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for MailPal in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Ending use

You can stop using MailPal and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, please contact us first; most problems can be solved by email. Otherwise, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Placer County, California, except where your local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and let you know in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use MailPal after that means you accept the updated terms.
